🌍 What Is the Global Trotter Journey About?

The Global Trotter programme introduces children to the idea of travelling, countries, cultures, and people around the world. Instead of learning from a textbook, children explore through real-world missions — spotting real airplanes, using their travel passport, joining quizzes, and discovering fun facts about different countries.

🛫 The 5 Learning Stations

To make learning structured and engaging, the journey is divided into five themed activity stations. Each station introduces a different concept of world exploration.

✈ Station 1: Passport to the World

The journey begins with each child receiving a Global Trotter Passport. After the first “chop” (stamp), children listen to clues and guess which country they will be “visiting”. This builds excitement and imagination.

  • Understanding travel & countries
  • Listening and guessing
  • Building anticipation and curiosity

✈ Station 2: Spotting My Plane

At the viewing gallery, children observe airplanes taking off or landing. Using a spotting worksheet, they identify airline logos, colors, and aircraft types — developing real-world observation skills.

  • Visual observation
  • Early science (movement, take-off, landing)
  • Recognising differences between airlines

✈ Station 3: Guess Where I Am From

This fun group activity uses clues such as food, weather, landmarks, or festivals. Children work together to guess which country the guide is from — encouraging communication and reasoning.

  • Cultural awareness
  • Group discussion & teamwork
  • Inference and critical thinking

✈ Station 4: Fun Facts Around the World

A quiz-style learning segment where children discover interesting facts about different places, animals, traditions, and landmarks across the globe.

  • Memory & recall
  • General world knowledge
  • Confidence through answering questions

✈ Station 5: Free & Easy at Canopy Park

The journey ends with playtime at Canopy Park. Children unwind, explore freely, and reflect on what they learned through casual conversations with teachers.

  • Social interaction
  • Physical activity
  • Meaningful reflection

🎒 Specially Designed Materials

Every child receives fun and engaging learning materials, including:

  • Global Trotter Passport
  • Airplane spotting worksheet
  • Country clue & quiz cards
  • Stickers, stamps, and badges

All materials are thoughtfully crafted to keep children engaged through play — and become meaningful keepsakes to bring home.
